Moxbe Pickle Parad is an independent architectural research archive founded on the premise that interior architecture is experienced through kinetic passage rather than static elevation renderings. When clearances are neglected, rooms restrict their inhabitants.
Our Core Clearance Tenets
1. The Primacy of Flow
Every floor plan must first resolve its continuous walking circuits before selecting furniture. If an arterial pathway requires someone to turn sideways, the plan is fundamentally compromised regardless of aesthetic finish.
2. Dynamic Envelopes
Furniture dimensions are not static rectangles on paper. A dining chair expands 16 inches during exit; a closet door swings 24 inches outward. We design exclusively for dynamic kinetic envelopes.
3. Visual Respite
Perimeter space is not wasted space. Maintaining 4 to 6 inches of clearance between furniture pieces creates optical relief that allows light and air to articulate solid architectural volumes.
